Why does the water spray all over the place from my faucet? It looks like a sprinkler.

This can be really annoying.  What happens is that over time water will pull minerals and deposits through the lines that get hung up in the screen.  So the fix is easy and there are two things you can do:

1. Take the bottom of the faucet off and rinse out the screen
2. Grab an old toothbrush and attack the screen.  It will usually knock the blockage loose and you'll be good to go
